A Northeast Healthcare System added another hospital to its core of regional teaching hospitals. As with most single community hospitals it was struggling to stay afloat. Lack of profitability was creating a negative cycle of under-investment and further losses. The healthcare system needed to bring the hospital onto their infrastructure, management and revenue cycle platforms as soon as possible. Gurnet was engaged to lead the execution of strategic projects along with upgrading core applications to be ICD10 compliant.
